Tom McGowan, owner, head grower and landscaper.  Not to mention husband and a father of 4.  Tom has always been playing in the dirt since a young child.  He had his own section of the garden when he was growing up.  He grew all of his own flowers for his wedding and loves growing pretty things!!  Tom grew up in a family that operated a golf course and landscape business.  As you can see it has always been in the genes. Tom's nickname is "Tom Thumb", and if you come to visit us at Twin Ponds you will see that he is still playing in the dirt and creating new and interesting projects all around the property.  Tom is a true artist when it comes to design in landscape and plant combinations.

   Sue McGowan owner, secretary, Tom's wife, mother and all out whatever she is needed to be. I (yes it is me typing) like to stay behind the scene.  I grew up on a dairy farm and loved being in the fields.  Still miss the open farm land, love the feeling when I go home to the farm.  but I'm glad to be in a business of growing plants and adding to the quality of healthy living. I am an educator by trade and love to have children visit the greenhouse or have a field trip with their class.  Call and set up a visit today! 

  Jane Oomen, greenhouse manager, sister to Sue, mother of 2 beautiful girls and married to Paul( whom you will see occasionally helping around the greenhouse with all of his handy trades).  Jane is the one who is constantly moving, you'll hardly ever see her sitting still.  She does an amazing job of keeping us all organized and the greenhouses too.  She does all of the wonderful displays that you will see throughout the greenhouses.  She can always find treasure in other peoples garbage meaning she'll change a broken unwanted chair to a piece of garden art and that is just one example.

  Sarah Oomen, one of those beautiful daughters of Jane, has been helping since she was 10 and is now following strongly in her mother's footsteps.  She is our upcoming naturalist and herbalist.  She has the youthfulness that brings in the fresh and cutting edge ideas.  She is quick to help and it is well worth your time to pick her brain.  She is very creative and loves to keep in touch with you all, she keeps us going on facebook with all of her updates.

  Christina Balbach, the other beautiful daughter to Jane.  Christina has been with us since a young child.  I can remember her enthusiasm when she was young saying it was going to be her best summer ever because she was going to grow sunflowers!!  Christina is now married and going to college so her time with us is limited, but you'll still see her around and you'll still see her enthusiasm for growing shining through.

  Adan Morales, Tom's right hand man on the job and at the greenhouse.  Adan is also a father of one beautiful young boy, and loves to boast of his progress. Adan has shown his dedication to us many times over, he's been with us now for 6 years.

  Arleen, who wishes she was still here playing in the dirt but life has taken to another place, but she still works behind the scene on sending out email updates, correspondences and designing out post cards.  We miss having her here regularly, she is always inspiring to be around, but we thank her for staying on the team in a distant way.

  The McGowan Children are all very involved at the greenhouse.  They continue to grow as much as our plants and business.  They are always willing to help serve the customers in many different ways. They too are busy playing in the dirt when it is time to plant.  They are a great blessing to us and to you when you come to visit.
